So last night I had the wonderful opportunity to see Toy Story 3. Now I went into this movie knowing that it did get 100% good reviews, but still with doubts in my mind. Why? because it is rare that animated movies that get up to three in a series are not a disaster. Usually they don't follow the story line, or they just are plain stupid. Sure I got the little magazine outside of the theater doors, but i wasn't expecting much more than a expired disaster; something that was just never supposed to happen.
Boy, was I completely wrong.
If you haven't yet seen it, and have watched the previous three (I don't know one person who hasn't seen the other two movies, but whatever), I highly recommend going to see it. From the very first minute i was laughing like there was no tomorrow. Taking you into the spirit of your childhood, it puts a twist in it that will make anyone laugh. Buzz as a Spaniard brought me to tears. It was a perfect blend of comedy and adventure, with a hint of scary, and a pinch of romance between Barbie and Ken. I honestly don't think I've ever laughed so hard at a movie. But be prepared to experience heart break once again like you did the first time you gave away your favorite toy. But i promise you wont be disappointed, unless you are a black hearted loser who hates everything good in life.
Over all, I'd say that Toy Story is the best movie I have seen this year... by far.
