So tonight I experienced my second ever football game that wasn't on the television. No, I'm not really a football person, but I do love my school.... and when someone violates our awesomeness, bad things must come upon them.
At my school, we are famous for our crazy spectators that cheer and dress up and everything. And to add to that, we've been keeping up this tradition for about 30 or so years. We have cheers that go back to day one. But tonight, we were violated.
This school we were playing was only two years old. Two. What did they do? They stole our cheer. Now, you might not think of this as such a big deal, but it was. It was a huge deal. They took it, and disrespected it. They replaced words to fit their school's. They broke the unwritten law of cheer jacking. Not cool.
I wasn't the only one who was overly bugged. Heads were turning and shaking, and eyes were glaring. Now, you don't just do that to a school like ours. It will cost you. And we charged them. It cost them 2 touch downs with in 5 minutes. Satisfying? Yes. Quite.
