Today, I don't feel so good, so I am going to keep it short.
Alright. So you know how in English they have you learn stuff like prepositional phrases and clauses? Have you ever wondered why you have to learn those? If you think deeper, you cant think of a reason why. No really. You cant.
All the time in math kids will ask, "Why do we have to know this?" and the usual response is, "Because if you become a blah blah you'll need it." Thats all fine and good. Now think of grammar things like prepositions and stuff. Why do we have to learn those? The only answer I got was it was on the SAT/ACT. What job requires knowledge of those things? Who even came up with them? Truly I cannot find an answer.
Why are these things even on a test? No one reads the paper and says, "Oh that clause is wrong." No. No one does that. Why do we have them anyway? Great mystery that one. It's just one of those stupid things that you look at and go... really? really?
