lesson fun

So there was a reason I put 98% self taught. Today, i had a scheduled lesson with an actual teacher.
Now, i had in my mind three possibilities of who this teacher would be like... one would be a young guy in his twenties... wanna be rock star and didn't quite make it. two was a forty year old dude going through a mid-life crisis with long black greasy hair and a Harley. and three was a seventy year old creeper.

So I was close. it was a hybrid of the last two. he was probably in his fifties, and he was so in to Jimi Hendrix it was hilarious. He kept talking about all of the guitar magazines he subscribes to... so funny. but he was a very nice guy and was quite impressed with my "guitar skills" and that i was progressing more than anyone he has seen in a while... so I'm guessing thats good.

So I now have a stand for my guitar and a very pretty back and white checked strap. :) and just in case anyone besides me is wondering, my guitar, Adison's official birthday is July 9, 2010. I will be celebrating his birthday every year, and possibly half birthdays and so on and so forth. he will be getting presents from me...
Because I'm a dork like that. well thats it for today!
