So... if you haven't noticed.... its Saturday... What does Saturday mean? it means movies. So you might be wondering what movie I watched. Well. for the past two-ish hours, I devoted my eyes and ears to the always wonderful, Mean Girls.
Now, the basic message of the movie is to not judge, spread rumors, hate, or pull pranks on people. And if you look at that list, it basically has High School written all over it. Now the movie exaggerates it highly. It might feel like everyone is looking at you after you do something bad, but the entire lunchroom doesn't go silent and glare at you as you walk past. If some popular girl cuts two holes in her shirt, all the girls in the school aren't going to follow in her over rated foot steps. But hey. Every good movie is exaggerated to the point of puking right? (in this movie, quite literally)
Well, all in all, this movie was a great reminder of how Lindsay Lohan used to be "normal". My theory is that deep down inside, she really is trying. (you must understand that I'm trying to apply the lessons learned in the movie by not passing judgement.... not working too well is it?)
Alright. So there you have a movie for movie Saturday. This movie is probably in the teenage-chick-flick-drama category. if thats your category, go for it. :)
